LIS appoints Executive Leadership Team and strengthens international collaboration

The LIS Logistische Informationssyteme Gmbh is realigning its management structure to establish a stronger organizational foundation for the next phase of international growth. Through the expansion of the Executive Leadership Team, the group is enhancing international and cross-functional collaboration while improving coordination across divisions and markets. The new structure is designed to broaden the distribution of responsibility throughout the organization, foster entrepreneurial leadership, and further strengthen customer proximity in all markets. At the same time, LIS reinforces its commitment to further advancing its international position as a leading solutions provider for the logistics industry.

As part of the realignment, Jan-Frederik Mecklenbrauck joins the LIS Executive Board as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will be responsible, together with Rob Schreurs (Chief Executive Officer) and Rolf Hansmann (Co-Chief Executive Officer), for the strategic development of the group.

In addition, Jill Trösser has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Philipp Neuser has been appointed Director of WMS. Together with Rob Schreurs, Rolf Hansmann, Jan-Frederik Mecklenbrauck, Markus Berkemeier (Chief Operating Officer), Boris Melnik (Managing Director France), Krzysztof Suchoński (Managing Director Poland), and Jos Zomer (Managing Director Netherlands), they will form LIS’s international Executive Leadership Team.

The nine-member leadership team combines international market knowledge, operational expertise, and strategic responsibility across the entire group. With this new structure, LIS is consciously pursuing a modern, decentralized management approach. In the future, decisions will be made more frequently in the areas where the relevant technical expertise and market knowledge are available. In this way, the company promotes personal responsibility, entrepreneurial spirit, and a business mindset across all divisions and all countries.

Rob Schreurs, CEO of LIS, explains: “With the new management structure, we are creating the organizational foundation to consistently drive LIS’s international growth. At the same time, we are fostering a corporate culture based on initiative, responsibility, and close collaboration. This allows us to respond even more quickly to our customers’ needs.”

Rolf Hansmann, Co-CEO of LIS, also sees the new structure as an important step for the company’s future development: “Transformation, technological innovation, and customer focus are key success factors in the international logistics industry. With our Executive Leadership Team, we are pooling expertise, establishing clear responsibilities, and strengthening the strategic development of our solutions and international markets.”

The transformation is deliberately starting at the executive level. At the same time, LIS views the new organizational structure as a starting point for the further development of the entire corporate group. Step by step, the company is realigning itself along these principles: internationally scalable, technologically strong, and at the same time consistently close to the customer. “Our goal is to be closer to our customers and markets while at the same time making even better use of the LIS Group’s entire international expertise,” says Rob Schreurs, CEO of LIS. “For us, customer proximity means one thing above all else: customer satisfaction. We want to understand what our customers truly need, respond more quickly to requirements, and build long-term partnerships. Our goal is to become the preferred partner of the logistics industry.”

In doing so, LIS consistently pursues the approach of not only providing customers with software, but also supporting them in the long term with integrated solutions for the requirements of international logistics. “ Through closer collaboration between our teams and country organizations, we are creating the conditions to not only provide our customers with software, but to offer comprehensive solutions for their logistics challenges. In doing so, we are consistently evolving from a software provider into a solutions provider,” says Rob Schreurs.
