With AppSped 2.0, we are taking our mobile application for transport orders to a new level. The further development simplifies the daily work of drivers and dispatchers, ensures complete processes and can be flexibly adapted to individual requirements.
The most important new features at a glance:
- Document upload: Save receipts and photos directly in the app
- Automatic reminders: No more missing status messages
- Customizable surface: Individual design for display and sequence
“With AppSped 2.0, we ensure that no important documents are missing, such as receipts, photos or signatures. The new functions make transport handling processes even simpler and status management even more comprehensive,” says our Co-CEO Magnus Wagner. The new version supplements the tried-and-tested functions, such as package scanning, with enhancements that significantly simplify the work of drivers and our dispatchers.
Extended upload function
The new features include the option of uploading additional documents based on defined status messages: If a shipment is delivered, drivers can record the receipt as proof of delivery.
AppSped can also be used to create photos of the damage in the event of a refusal of acceptance due to damaged goods, which are automatically archived in the WinSped document management system (DMS).
Simplified process handling
“Another new feature includes additional functions when setting a quick status: AppSped automatically reminds you to obtain a signature and acknowledgement as soon as the status ‘End of unloading’ is set. This way, we prevent this important step from being forgotten,” says Wagner. As before, signatures can simply be captured using the Sign-on-Glass function.
Bordereau processing
The new version of the mobile application also enables the processing of bordereaux. “Users can now also easily implement bundled status updates for general cargo shipments in the app,” explains Wagner.
New templating for individual surfaces
The new templating allows the user interface to be flexibly adapted. Information such as reference or delivery note numbers can be displayed, functions that are not required can be hidden and the order of the app elements can be freely configured. “Labels can also be renamed individually – even in several languages,” adds Wagner. The app is available in German, English, French and many other languages.
Intuitive order processing, high data security
As with the previous version, AppSped 2.0 supports users in all order processing procedures – from communication to damage documentation – and remains intuitive to use without the need for extensive training.
Dispatchers can send transport orders directly to the drivers, who in turn update the status data in real time.
We continue to attach great importance to data protection: “The data is made available exclusively via the WebSped server and is never stored on external systems,” confirms our Co-CEO.
The Workflow Manager also allows processes to be defined individually so that they are tailored precisely to the respective orders.
AppSped 2.0 is available for Android and iOS devices.
