TMS developer LIS AG participates in SITL Europe and SOLUTRANS

Actually, the premiere appearance of Logistische Informationssysteme AG at SITL Europe (Semaine Internationale du Transport et de la Logistique) should have taken place last spring. However, the Corona pandemic made that impossible. At this year’s edition of the trade fair, on the other hand, the German software developer will be there and will present its transport management system WinSped from 13 to 15 September at stand E75 in pavilion 1 of the Expo Porte de Versailles. In particular, the company will focus on browser-based access to the online Logistics portal WebSped and the mobile application AppSped. These trade fair highlights will also be on show at the SOLUTRANS (stand D009, hall 1), which will be held in Lyon from 16 to 20 November. The TMS specialist from Greven in Westphalia has intensified its business in France in recent years and has maintained a branch in La Rochelle since the beginning of 2018.

“The need for efficient and user-friendly transport management systems is very high in France. With WinSped, we offer a software that covers all processes of transport,” says Boris Melnik, Managing Director at LIS France SAS. There are separate modules for a wide range of tasks, such as order processing, scheduling, loading equipment management or personnel deployment planning. Thanks to this modular architecture, the LIS solution can always be configured as needed and according to the user’s individual requirements. “WinSped is therefore just as suitable for groupage forwarders as it is for logistics service providers in the automotive industry or dangerous goods transporters,” says Melnik. In addition, the TMS is available in several languages, including French. This ensures that users from different countries of origin can operate the software without any problems.

The online logistics portal WebSped® enables the online processing of orders and is functionally integrated as a web application in WinSped®. In addition to order entry and status recording, consignment tracking is also available at any time, regardless of location, via the browser interface. To simplify the exchange of information and to improve the transparency of processes vis-à-vis the customer, the customer can also be granted access to all relevant data. The design of WebSped can easily be adapted to the respective corporate identity of the user.

Transport orders can also be processed from any location via smartphone or tablet using the mobile solution AppSped. The app supports its users in all processes – from communication to damage documentation. Using the sign-on-glass function, the delivery and receipt of the goods can be documented securely and easily. The app is available for both Android and iOS devices and in German, English, Dutch, French, Italian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Polish, Russian, Portuguese and Spanish.

Interested parties can test exactly how WinSped works and what advantages the LIS system offers with demo versions at SITL Europe and SOLUTRANS. Consultation appointments can easily be made in advance via the LIS website.
