“Drive Automotive now – Transformation in the Product, in the Factory, in the Supply Chain and in Cooperation” was the motto of the AKJ Automotive Annual Congress, which took place on 8 and 9 May in the Congresshalle Saarbrücken and was also attended by a delegation from LIS. In lectures and discussions, the participants this time dealt primarily with the changes and implementation strategies in the automotive industry. “We had many interesting discussions and were able to establish numerous new contacts,” reports Giovanni Rodio, sales representative at LIS AG. “The new Automotive Center, with which we offer solutions for process-oriented advice and order processing in the VDA environment, met with particular interest”. The AKJ Automotive is a group of experts and executives from the automotive industry and sees itself as a platform for an open and trusting exchange of information between all members of the automotive value chain (manufacturers, suppliers, service providers). The aim of the working group is to jointly further develop concepts and solutions for the optimization of processes and structures in the automotive and supplier industry.
