In this Christmas season, we are carrying out a wish tree campaign for the first time. A couple of days ago, a pinetree was set up in the foyer of our company headquarters in Greven, Germany. On the tree, there are wish lists of socially disadvantaged children and seniors from the Münsterland region. For Christmas Eve, our employees will send out parcels to fulfil their wishes.
“Especially during the Christmas season, everyone deserves a reason to be happy. We are doing rather well under the circumstances of this crisis and would therefore like to put a smile on the faces of those less fortunate,” says our CEO Magnus Wagner. The idea for the wishing tree campaign is based on this very thought. Our employees can pick the cards from the tree and fulfil the wishes of the children and seniors by getting the gifts for them and wrapping them nicely. Shortly before Christmas, the packages are handed over to representatives of Caritas Emsdetten-Greven, LWL Jugendheim Tecklenburg and Evangelische Jugendhilfe Münsterland GmbH, who have arranged the contact to the children and seniors for us.
