Dynamic forecasting
The IT forge LIS – known for its logistics software “WinSped” – has developed the “ETA Center” (Estimated Time of Arrival), which tracks transports and forecasts arrival times with greater accuracy. The system calculates and continuously monitors the estimated arrival time of shipments, taking into account the traffic situation and the drivers’ driving and rest times. In this way, forwarders and transport service providers can proactively inform their customers about the current delivery status of the goods.
