LIS with exhibition novelty at the Logistics & Distribution

The groupage business can bring many advantages, especially when it comes to transport costs. But this is only possible if freight processing and tours are planned sensibly and efficiently. Today, a flexible software solution is essential for this. With the help of a new function of our WinSped module Graphic disposition you can now also bundle and dispose general cargo from different original senders to different recipients without any problems. We will show you how this works at this year’s Logistics & Distribution on 24 and 25 June 2020 in Zurich. At stand 5G19 in hall 5 you can also see for yourself our electronic loading list ELLi, which allows you to map all processes in hall handling digitally and in real time – even for unlabelled packages.

Increased efficiency with new LIS module

The driving force behind new and further development at LIS is the desire to provide our customers with the best possible support on the way to more efficient processes. This also applies to the extended function for the graphic disposition of groupage shipments. In addition to simple operation, speed is the decisive factor here: up to 1,000 shipments can be dispatched within 3 seconds. In addition, the user-friendly interface allows an individually adaptable layout of the individual group headers. Forwarding agents thus benefit from uncomplicated and fast planning without having to forego the advantages of regular scheduling.

This has also convinced Logwin AG. The groupage freight forwarder has been using the system in its national transport network for several weeks. An initial conclusion is positive: According to the employees, the transparency in dispatching has been significantly increased. The transports could now be controlled intuitively and quickly, especially with regard to quality aspects.

Electronic loading list ELLi: digital recording without scan codes

Another highlight at our booth is the electronic loading list ELLi. With this tool, all unloading and loading processes during hall handling can be recorded by mobile phone or tablet. The system registers each tick-off in seconds and passes the information transparently to the dispatchers. Due to the permanent data flow, all stations involved in the goods process are kept up to date.

Convince yourself!

Since trial and error is a matter of study, you can get your own impression of our solutions at Logistics & Distribution 2020 by means of demo versions. We look forward to your visit!
