LIS stands attract visitors in droves

LIS stands attract visitors in droves

The world of logistics is big, just like our ambitions. For example, we will soon be competing in the Spanish market and will open a branch in O Barco, Galicia, at the beginning of next year. We were also very active last month in the foreign markets in which we are already represented – Poland, France and the Netherlands. We presented the WinSped product family and its latest modules at international trade fairs in all three countries. Our sales specialists set up their stands at TransLogistica in Warsaw, ICT&Logistiek in Utrecht and Solutrans in Lyon.

In all cases, the focus was on our latest new developments. Examples include the ETA Center for automatically calculating the arrival time of vehicles, taking into account the current traffic situation and possible disruptive factors, the Graphical Disposition, which shortens reaction times due to its clarity and intuitive operation, and the new functions in the job log, which make the data flow more efficient and route planning even easier.

The response at all three trade fairs exceeded our expectations. In Warsaw, our Polish colleagues were able to talk to more than 60 forwarders and transport companies. “In several cases the interest in our TMS was so great that we arranged follow-up appointments on the spot,” says Krzysztof Suchoński, Managing Director of LIS Polska.

Boris Melnik, Director General of LIS France, is also extremely pleased with the result: “The result of the Lyon fair is 67 further contacts. Best of all, four orders have already been signed. And I am confident that more will follow in the coming weeks and months”. Of particular interest was our .NET environment, which facilitates order entry and planning as well as integration with our internal DMS, Cross Docking and AppSped.

Jos Zomer, Managing Director LIS B.V. is also extremely satisfied with the frequency and interest of the visitors: “The ICT&Logistiek in Utrecht was a complete success for us. We saw many familiar faces and made new contacts”. The topics he and his team discussed with the interested specialist audience were also varied. The spectrum ranged from possibilities for automated solutions to logistical problems to career opportunities at LIS. Visitors were also particularly interested in our mobile applications.

Against this backdrop, it is of course quite clear that we will be packing our bags again next year and will once again be present at all three trade fairs. We look forward to welcoming you to our stand today – whether in Utrecht, Warsaw or Lyon.
