Since the beginning of the year, the 60 vehicle Polish fleet of Paul Schockemöhle Logistics Polska (PSLP) has been operating with the LIS Transport Management Software (TMS) WinSped. The international transport company of the former German show jumper had been looking for a new software provider for its Polish branch in Krappitz for several months. The colleagues from our Polish company LIS Polska prevailed against four other applicants. In particular, our familiarity with the specifications and requirements of the Polish market, such as the newly introduced file format Single File Control (.jpk) or the local control system, convinced the decision-makers at PSLP. “WinSped has been on the market for many years and has undergone important modifications to adapt to changes in the operating environment and to meet the needs of forwarders,” reports Damian Szampera, board member of Paul Schockemöhle Logistics GmbH in Poland, the Polish magazine Transport Manager. Also thanks to the multilingualism of our system, the company opted for the LIS software. “We can now print documents, bills of lading or orders in various European languages and send reports to our customers in their native language, while our old TMS only supported the German language. We had to create the Polish versions ourselves,” explains Szampera. “In addition, any new document that became necessary due to legal changes in Poland posed a problem for our former software provider.
