LIS 2024: LIS 2024: A year characterised by progress

2024 has once again shown how diverse and dynamic the logistics industry is – and LIS was right in the middle of it. Whether at international trade fairs or through the expansion of our software solutions: This year once again, we have been focussing on innovation and customer service. With a clear focus on the needs of the industry, existing products were optimised, new features developed and valuable impulses gathered for the years to come.

LogiMAT: Premiere for .NET Invoicing

A highlight of the year was the trade fair LogiMAT, which took place in Stuttgart from 19 to 21 March. Here we presented the newly developed .NET Invoicing in our Transport Management System (TMS) WinSped. This further development includes central modules such as the Invoicing Center, the Audit Center and the new Condition Management. With the latter, tariffs and customer-specific agreements can be efficiently managed, adapted and used for new invoicing models.

The new data selection control and result visualisation functions, which enable precise simulation and transparent traceability of all invoicing steps, also offer particular added value. This is complemented by improved user-friendliness in the Invoicing Center, which ensures optimised handling and time savings.

T-MATIK 2024: In-house exhibition with new impulses

On 4 and 5 June 2024, our in-house trade fair T-MATIK was held in Greven. For the eleventh time, leading providers and start-ups from telematics, logistics and logistics related industries gathered in the historic local bale warehouse to present their innovations and provide room for exchange.

We introduced the Corridoring Feature in WinSped, a new function for optimised route guidance. This feature lets dispatchers see the ideal route for transports and notifies them in case of deviations. This enables us to improve transparency and security in the supply chain while cutting costs and emissions.

IAA Transportation: Showcasing digital solutions in logistics

LIS presented new approaches to digital work organisation at the IAA Transportation in Hanover. The focus was on the TMS WinSped with its individually configurable dashboard, which offers dispatchers a flexible working environment. Using drag-and-drop, tiles can be arranged to create a live visualisation of the most important current processes. We will also be presenting insights into our cloud-based LWM, which optimises the material flow of logistics service providers.

Orientation for 2025

The look ahead shows: LIS will continue to focus on innovation and customer service in the coming year. Even more product innovations are planned to be presented at major trade fairs such as LogiMAT and transport logistic, as well as the introduction of a new ticket system to optimise customer support.

With the experience gained in 2024 and a clear strategic direction, we are facing to the challenges of the changes in the logistics industry. “Our task is to work with our partners to develop innovative solutions that fulfil the requirements of our customers,” explains Co-CEO Magnus Wagner. With these exciting developments and a clear focus on the future, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May 2025 be full of new opportunities and shared success!
