Interface solution for the automotive industry: LIS presents Automotive Center at FAL 2020

Production and logistics are increasingly merging in the automotive industry. Digitalization has now fundamentally simplified the networking of different corporate divisions and players. Nevertheless, an IT infrastructure that enables data transfer between vehicle manufacturers and suppliers is still required. This is exactly where our modularly constructed transport management system (TMS) WinSped provides a remedy. Applications specially tailored to the automotive industry and numerous interfaces ensure an optimisation of the value-added process. Through the software automotive (area) forwarders can map all processes from the supplier to the plant.

Forum Automotive Logistics 2020

Car manufacturers will be able to see this for themselves at the Forum Automobile Logistics 2020 in Leipzig on 5th and 6th February 2020. In addition to the Automotive Center, we will also be focusing on the ETA Center for real-time departure, route and arrival monitoring and our ELLi electronic loading list. All functions of the WinSped applications can be tested in demo versions by the visitors at our stand.

Date: 5th and 6th February 2020

Place: Congress Center Leipzig, Seehausener Allee 1 in 04356 Leipzig

Support of all common VDA interfaces and platforms

Via the Automotive Center, transport orders in full, empty and inter-plant transport can be completely mapped: from recording, master data management and scheduling to invoicing. The system takes the VDA plant structures into account. All modules are programmed in the current .net language and are also available as web applications. “Our products can be easily implemented in almost all IT environments common in the VDA industry,” says Elmar Fiedeldey, Head of the Automotive Department at LIS. WinSped supports the common VDA interfaces (VDA 4933 T1, VDA 4933 T2, VDA 4987, VDA 4945, VDA 4913, VA30Mod; in development: VDA 4933 T3, VDA 4933 T4, VDA 4945 / Favor) and can be connected to the individual web-based exchange platforms of some large German manufacturers, such as the Discovery Portal of the Volkswagen Group and the BMW CSC Portal.
