There was great interest in our software solutions at the ITT event, which took place again this week in Greven. “It’s obvious that everyone in the logistics industry is now aware of digitalization as a key requirement for growth,” says our sales manager Nord Giovanni Rodio. During the event, he looked after visitors at our stand who had one primary goal: to optimize transport processes.
Digitalization offers a lot of potential here, and our software helps us to exploit it to the full. WinSped, for example, consists of numerous modules that simplify every step associated with the distribution of goods – WinLager is the equivalent for warehouse logistics. Rodio and his team showed interested parties at the ITT event exactly how the solutions work.
Track transports and digitize incoming and outgoing goods
Existing customers were particularly interested in our innovative modules ETA Center and “ELLi”, which we have been offering since this year:
- With the ETA Center transports can be tracked precisely and arrival times can be forecast as precisely as possible. This is very important nowadays because the exact planning of goods flows is becoming more and more relevant for industry and production.
- The electronic loading list “ELLi” enables a digital representation of incoming and outgoing goods. Using this application, the processes involved in hall handling can not only be effortlessly recorded and ticked off by mobile phone or tablet, but can also be transferred directly in real time to the dispatching department, where they can be processed immediately.
Consulting on digitalization with WinSped and LagerSped
“The new modules meet the exact needs of freight forwarders. They really are a big step forward for many customers,” says Rodio. The positive reactions and detailed enquiries from stand visitors at the ITT event once again showed that.
