Logistische Informationssysteme AG (LIS AG) presents two innovations: “ELLi”, the electronic loading list with which incoming and outgoing goods can be digitally mapped, and the ETA Center, which tracks transport and forecasts estimated times of arrival (ETA). “Pen and paper are increasingly a thing of the past in incoming and outgoing goods. With ELLi, we are now presenting the electronic loading list,” says Magnus Wagner, CEO of LIS AG.
The tool could be used not only to record the processes involved in hall handling by mobile phone or tablet, but also to transfer them to the scheduling department in real time. The recently developed ETA Center calculates and monitors the expected arrival time, taking into account the traffic situation, driving times and rest periods. “The aim is for freight forwarders to be able to proactively inform their customers about the current delivery status of the goods,” says Wagner. In addition to the colleagues from the German LIS headquarters, representatives from the Polish and French locations will also be present for the first time. A personnel consultant will also be available on site for discussions with interested specialists.
