As of 30 March 2019, Britain will no longer be part of the EU, which is already legally established, regardless of whether there is an agreement or not. The consequences of a “hard” Brexit are hard to estimate, but it is certain that the goods imports and exports customs have to be handled.
The customs offices are taking the extra effort seriously. The Hauptzollamt Hamburger-Hafen already started to take on additional staff in August last year.
WinSped offers with the customs module ATLIS the possibility of an integrated solution to serve the customs ATLAS interface. Through an individual takeover assistant, the necessary information from WinSped orders can be transferred directly to ATLIS for subsequent transfer to customs.
