The freight forwarder Schultz & Sohn from Lübeck has been relying on the WinSped Transport Management System (TMS) for 25 years to provide its comprehensive and complex services. With a fleet of 32 modern tractor units and a dedicated team of 32 drivers, 15 administrative staff and 9 trainee professional drivers, the logistics company has proven that efficiency and reliability are the cornerstones of its success.
Our team took the opportunity to engage in intensive dialogue with the company’s managers on site. The LIS existing customer sales department, represented by Mr Celik, discussed the configuration options in WinSped with Ms Korb (Trailer-Trucking + Disposition Fuhrpark, Schultz & Sohn) and was impressed by the work organisation to date.
In addition, Stephan Meier (Managing Director, Schultz & Sohn) and Timo Kneilmann (Management Department, LIS) spoke about the direction of LIS and the benefits of new, existing and expanded modules. The data explorer and the workflow manager were explicitly addressed in order to optimise the evaluation potential and increase process quality.
