T-Matik 2010

On 19.05.2010 THE telematics trade show took place in Greven with huge success for exhibitors and organisers.

undefined„I and my companions really enjoyed the trade show, both regarding the form of presentation and the organisation as well as the all the details. The organisation was excellent, we really felt at ease,” said Mr Markus Schmalen, Heinz Peter Schmitz GmbH, Euskirchen.

Over 200 visitors were very interested in the solutions of the 17 exhibiting telematics suppliers as well as the Münster University of Applied Sciences. “At no other trade show is it possible for visitors to be introduced to a market overview of the telematics sector in such a compact form,” says Mr Lückemeier, chairman of LIS AG. The trade show visitors included hauliers and companies from the shipping industry, the majority of who were looking for a telematics system, but also of course companies who wanted to find out about the optimisations and new developments of current suppliers.

Developments in more user friendliness, easier operation, continuous service and also more compact telematics devices for the vehicles are the trends of the market. Navigation, transferring technical data, driver map downloads and telephony are just a few components of telematics systems.

LIS AG presented their new items and products on their own stand to national and international companies. Of course, the integration of a telematics system was in the foreground. Functions such as sending driving jobs, receiving status notifications, exchanging free texts, control tools like comparing target/actual data or routes, but also the integration of driving and rest periods with presentation of deadline conflicts were in the foreground in order to optimally support the transport planner.
The sales team were particularly pleased about gaining a contract with a transport company who travelled to the trade show from Jena.

At this point we would particularly like to thank once again our partner exhibitors and the Münster University of Applied Sciences for the very successful collaboration and their very motivated trade show team.
For all customers and interested parties who couldn’t make it to T-Matik, the LIS team would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
